Specialty Composites Group, Ltd (SCG) is a Texas based corporation that specializes in the composites manufacturing industry. With over 50 years of combined manufacturing expertise, SCG has become a recognized and innovative leader in high quality manufacturing processes such as filament winding, vacuum molding, RTM, wet layup, pre-preg layup, and compression molding.
Our experience with composite materials includes E-glass, S-glass, Silica-quartz, carbon fiber, Aramid fibers, UHMWPE, polypropylenes, polyester resins, epoxy resins, vinyl esters, and phenolic systems. With over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity, SCG’s business units convert filament rovings, woven rovings, and other reinforcing materials into finished products that are used around the world in various industries. As our name implies, we specialize with laser-like focus on specific processes and products that are renowned for high quality and performance reliability.
